FEED IN TARIFF / RENEWABLE HEAT INCENTIVE

UK Biomass can offer MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) certified biomass, heat pump and micro-CHP installations through its partner company ESP Ltd.

As a Certified Installer, ESP enables clients to access payments under the government’s Feed in Tariff scheme (applies to eligible micro-CHP installations).

Installers of biomass and heat pump systems will also be able to claim payments under the Renewable Heat Incentive when this is introduced.

Enhanced Capital Allowances

The Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) scheme is a key part of the UK Government's programme to manage climate change, and is designed to encourage businesses to invest in energy-saving equipment.

The Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) scheme enables businesses to claim an "enhanced" 100% capital allowance on investments in energy-saving equipment, during the first tax year.
