Biodiesel and Natural Gas

UK Biomass have installed the UK's first and second Biodiesel CHP units.

A state of the art Biodiesel CHP unit has been installed by UK Biomass to run on 100% biodiesel in Newcastle Upon Tyne, this is considered to be the first small commercial biodiesel plant to be installed within the UK.

Enhanced Capital Allowances

The Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) scheme is a key part of the UK Government's programme to manage climate change, and is designed to encourage businesses to invest in energy-saving equipment.

The Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) scheme enables businesses to claim an "enhanced" 100% capital allowance on investments in energy-saving equipment, during the first tax year.
